We had such a great time on Kaiden's birthday. We started the morning out with a few friends coming over to spend the day with us. They played, ate cinnamon rolls and fruit for breakfast, played some more...and then we went to Wendy's for lunch. After that we took the kids to the arcade to play. They got lots of energy out, Miller got to play a few games, they managed to earn 1,000 tickets, they picked out some good prizes and then we were off to get ready for the party, which just so happened to be completely centered around Pokemon (Kaiden was in Heaven)!!! Miller had planned out a few "homemade" Pokemon games, so the kids had lots of fun and got to take home LOTS of Pokemon cards. All in all, a very good day!

This was one of the games...they had to shoot a Nerf dart gun at a Pokemon card on the poster board and they got to keep the ones they shot.

I find myself thinking things like "that was a little slice of hell" maybe a little too often these days. Like just today after grocery shopping with three kids. Or when Eve puked in the middle of running an errand yesterday. Ahhh...the joys of parenthood.
